JC Crab House is a family-owned and operated seafood restaurant in the Colesville Shopping Center in Silver Spring. We are Montgomery County’s local eatery where you can enjoy our Maryland Steamed Blue Crab, which is our signature dish and a must-try for any seafood lover.
A seasonal deal in March has us with an abundance of female blue crabs. Crab season in general begins in April. Check out our specials page, which briefs you on the timely catch of the season and deals like half-price oysters every Thursday and Friday from April to October, excluding holidays, for our dine-in customers. We also take advance crab reservations for the holidays.
So when you get hungry, you can start with an appetizer like Calamari or crab balls, then try to decide on steamed and spiced shrimp, Snow Crab legs clusters, mussels, crawfish, or a sandwich of fish filet, crab cake, or a crispy oyster roll. If making your mind up is too vexing, try a combination seafood platter of jumbo shrimp, scallops, and oysters.

" Love JC Crab House! Has crabs of all sizes but we normally go for XL or Jumbo. Best hush puppies ever! Their fried platters are great as well. Now they have AYCE specials on weekends. Cutely decorated and recently expanded their dinning room. Staff is always friendly."
